Jon Winer is the chief executive officer of Tollos, Inc. Since 2009 he has led the Baltimore-based company that manufactures and distributes safety solutions and safety products for the healthcare industry. Tollos’ patient handling, material handling, hygiene and bathroom safety, and infection control solutions and products reduce employee and patient injuries and infections, increases staff productivity, improves patient outcomes, and produces strong ROIs for healthcare organizations across North America. Winer began his career as an attorney and worked at DLA Piper. Ten years later he joined Beckett Medical as president and CEO and then founded Alpine Medical. In that position Winer was president and CEO of the regional home/facility respiratory company. Under his leadership, Alpine Medical was acquired by Recovercare, LLC, a specialty bed rental company. Winer served as Co-Chairman and CEO of Recovercare until founding Tollos in 2009. Winer is a native of Philadelphia and earned his bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University Law School.
